Green NRG contracted us to do an install for them. We installed a job in the Houston area as per agreement (like we have done for years for Green NRG). But now they don't want to pay for the job. Said that they are closing doors anyway soon. Customers beware!!! They will take your money but not pay the subcontractors, who in turn may file a lien on your property for non-payment!!!

They still haven't completed my system, it's been 4 months and it's still not 100%. The subcontractors altered the plans and didnt follow the engineers specifications for the 4'x2' holes for the posts to be cemented in. The initial holes that were done right by me were 4' deep, but they decided to change the plans and auger new ones that were about 2' deep and in the process they put the panels over 14 holes and tried to hide it vs backfilling. They've had a total of 7 working days on the system in 4 months and still not 100%. Good luck calling them as they dont answer or won't return your calls. Save your time and money and go with a reputable company. As of this posting I have contacted my attorney and will be filing suit.

In general, this has been a sketchy experience. Initially, they installed the system with a design that was slightly altered from the one that I signed off on and approved. I was never asked to reauthorize the new design. Most recently, one of their subcontractors filed a Lien on my property because Green NRG has failed to pay them. This happened right when I was about to close on a Home Equity Line of Credit and not that has fallen through. When asked for details about why this happened and when they would pay the subcontractor, Green NRG gave me a generic, cookie cutter response that offered zero specific accountability about when they would get this taken care of. I've seen the exact same response pasted into an identical complaint on the BBB website which is quite concerning that multiple people are having this issue. and Green NRG has a ready to fire response/excuse for it. Would not recommend.

GreenNRG contracted Go Solar Power to provide a turn key installation for homeowners in Florida. GreenNRG was funded by the lenders but refuses to pay GSP the money owed on 6 installations. Now the systems are being turned off and lawyers involved.
