Doug was outstanding! He redid our solar that never worked well. Now it is warm and fully functional. He is smart and creative and really listens. I would recommend him without reservation. It is a pleasure to work with someone who takes pride in his work.

I had a different experience than other reviewers. Not supporting his old customer which are still under warranty. He is busy with new customers and not able to visit for repairs. Also rude and over confident.

I recently completed a project with Eco Solar and Doug Rotermund and am so thrilled with my experience there that I feel compelled to share. After years of dealing with sub-par solar panel performance, this past Summer I hired Doug to put on brand new solar panels to heat my pool in Walnut Creek. On responsiveness he gets an A+: He answers my calls immediately, and follows through. When I need something, he has someone here within the hour. He came up with a brilliant design for the panels that he created himself and installed: The panels work great and this is the warmest my pool has been in 20+ years. He is conscientious, reliable, and fun to work with to boot! Highly recommend. (Note: This is a 100% voluntary review, not solicited).

Used Eco Solar recently to replace and upgrade pump and solar panels for pool heating. Works great (super warm water!). Doug was fantastic, patiently answered all my questions and had helpful recommendations. Also won't disappear after the work is done. Good price, great service!
