Had similar experience to @jennyisher75 i work with the city. Older gentleman became overly friendly and made me feel uncomfortable while at work. smelled strongly of alcohol.

Salesperson was used car salesman but nice and so was co worker but they installed and never followed through 2 months now I have solar panels on my roof and still paying for regular power like WTF?!?!

SolNova sold me the solar panel package close to the end of 2020. They installed the solar in December 2020. During the sales, the salesman told us that if we need to change power company because of the buyback program, SolNova is going to reimburse us for the cancellation fee with our old power company due to breaking the contract. On May 24th 2021 I texted the salesman with proof of the fee we paid. He informed us that we will receive the check in 1 - 2 weeks (proof is attached). After waiting for a month and we have not received the check, I contacted the salesman again. For this second time, he also told me that our check will go out that Friday (prior to June 18th 2021 and the proof is also attached). Then in August 2021 I contacted the SolNova directly since the salesman has ignored both my calls and text. After going back and forward with the customer service, SolNova informed me that the salesman mailed out the check the week prior to August 24th 2021. Today is September 15th 2021 and I still have not received anything. The amount is not huge and they can't honor their promise, I don't know how I can trust anything this company says. In addition, SolNova corporate does not answer my call. Every time I call, I always get an sms text back and that's how we have been communicating all these time.

I am very displeased with the customer service and installation at this company. The installers left holes on my roof from their from their harnesses and didn’t seal panel fasteners which caused 30k in damages to my home. I have called customer service several times with no resolution. Installers came out to fill the holes and seal the fasteners but no one has called me back about the damages or removing the panel from my roof. I am very dissatisfied with them. Please consider another company for your solar needs. Now I have to figure out how I am going to pay for the damages this caused my house.
