I purchased solar panels from CAM Solar after one of their representatives come to my door. They gave me an estimate according to my usage to cover 110% of my electricity costs however as of right now my electric bill is barely less than what it was. It's not even covering half of my electric bill and I'm not using any more electricity i.e. a hot tub nor have my electric habits changed significantly since being quoted. My bill including the monthly solar panels has gone from $100+ to $250+. Buying solar panels was a terrible financial decision and regret ever buying them.Answer to the response: I sent you my electric bill and you responded that the estimate was based upon my electric consumption during 2 months, in your words, when I was on vacation. I went with solar and CAM Solar specifically because it was cheaper than other solar companies and would be about equal to my electric bull which is obviously not the case. I feel that taking 2 months where I wasn't at home to create a quote for solar panels is dishonest and I would never have purchased them knowing that my monthly electric bill would be more than double.
