Please STAY AWAY from Solar Choice USA. As others have advised, this company over promises and under delivers.I am the first home in my neighborhood to purchase a solar system, and went with these guys due to their competitive pricing and promise to install my system in 2019 so that I can take full advantage of the federal tax credit. We signed the contract in September, which was the beginning of problems as the sales person Morris tried to charge us $1,000 more than agreed. Some back and forth, and we arrived to the originally agreed price. I pay them $12k cash up front. Quite insane when I think about this as Tesla only charges $100.~3 months go by and I finally receive a site plan of how the panels will be installed at my home. I speak with Jenna and voice my concerns as its December, and they havent scheduled the installation. She assures me they will install before the end of December. Middle of December rolls around, and Jenna tells me, itll be next year before they install but I will be able to take full advantage of the tax credit since I signed the agreement in 2019. That was a lie.Meanwhile, my salesperson Morris calls me to let me know that hes left Solar Choice USA, I am able to cancel my contract with Solar Choice USA, and I should go with him and his new company for my energy needs. In retrospect, I should have cancelled the contract and went with neither.Middle of January rolls around, and a 3 day installation takes 3 weeks to complete due to rain. Bad weather is no fault of Solar Choice USA, however, the extended time simply compounded my frustration as the 46 solar panels were left in the middle of my driveway for those 3 weeks, instead of being placed on the large concrete slab at the bottom of my basement where I asked them to place all of the equipment. Immediately after the installation was completed, Solar Choice USA agressively chased me for final payment. I wanted to wait until I could verify the system was fully functional before paying them, in addition to Cobb county signing off and converting my meter to a net meter. Solar Choice USA of course indicated that I will not obtain access to see my system production until Ive paid in full. Guess who also called and texted me to collect payment, no other than Morris, the sales guy who sold, left, tried to get me to leave, and is now back collecting payment. I absolutely couldn't make this up if I tried. Seems like the sales people were fired and rehired.I go ahead and pay the remaining amount, $30k, after I confirmed that all is well with Cobb EMC from their end, so I can have access to see my energy production. Once I received access to see my energy production, low and behold, my 13.8kW system can only produce at max 10kW. 3.8kW may not seem like a lot, but multiply 3,800 by the average price per Watt in GA of $2.94 and youre talking $11,172 in over payment. Ive reached out to my customer service agent, Faye, several times to understand and get the difference rectified. The rationale is that the inverter Solar Choice USA installed is capped to 10kW production. Faye assured me she'd look into it, which she did, and follow up with a conclusion, which she has not. I also asked for a receipt of payment, which I also have yet to receive. I trusted Solar Choice USA to assess and deliver an energy solution which meets my needs. They advised and charged me by the watt for 13.8kW in solar panels, at which I can only use 10kW. Ive reached out several times to have this rectified, unfortunately to no avail. To make things worse, I've requested a receipt of payment to make sure I have record that I paid the full amount, these guys won't even provide that, even though I paid them $40k. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!I warn anyone who is considering Solar Choice USA to STAY AWAY! Go with someone reputable. Tesla solar roof is actually more affordable now in GA, and Tesla is a reputable company who will provide adequate customer service and believe it or not, a payment receipt. STAY AWAY from Solar Choice USA!

I have been dodged and ignored ever since the lying salesman took our deposit. Signed contract in Sept 19. Promised a 10 week install date. It's now February and still haven't been installed. Avoid this company.

I was told that the system would pay for itself but that was total bs. The system I purchased will produce only 800 KWHs per month and that equates to $80 at most. I use 1,400/mo and it is closer to 200/mo. So paying $215/ month for the system and getting at most (only June and July) $80 worth of power leave me with a much higher electric bill than I had before I had the system installed. They installed the electric panel upside down! They told me it was monitored 24/7 but never gave me any manual or materials to know how it all works. It took me 5 months for them to give me a link to get on Len to monitor the system myself! The manufacturer was sympathetic and gave me the info I never received. They also installed the panels on only one roof and never did a site analysis that makes the system less than 50% efficient. As a retired person on a fixed income, I now have to keep my heating system off and use a space heater in one room to keep the electric bill down. My system provides less than 30% of my power use, and only about 10% in November and December due to the neighbors trees which block the sun. They apparently never did a site analysis to determine that my home is not very good for solar panels. Ill be negotiating with Solar Chouce and with Dale Cardwell who supports this co and may eventually sue them if they do not rectify the problems. They all sound so concerned and genuine, but its apparently an act. I made a BIG mistake using Solar Choice. I hope they will change their deceitful practices and rectify my situation so I will eventually be able to recommend their services.

We were told by the salesman that our bill would all but disappear. After spending thousands of dollars, our bill has gone UP every month. We've been calling the company for months and and all they do is promise to come out to take a look at things and they never do. They dont even bother to call us back. HORRIBLE!!!! STAY AWAY!! Do your research. These folks took our money then disappeared. House full of Solar panels and still getting a high electric bill.
