Quote for re-roof was approximately $28,000. Estimator shot photos of roof and provided estimate from the road, never climbed onto the roof. Found this out after completion of the job.End cost......$32,000. $4,000 difference may be small change to some. Not us. Could have gone with a truly local roofing company for that price. Should have. Job took longer than expected...by 3-weeks!!!!Stay local! We learned our lesson.

Please do not waste your time with this company. Our family entered into a contract with Peterson Dean February 2nd 2018 to replace our roof and they finally cancelled our contract a year and 4 months later never completing the roof. They stated they under bid the job and I would have to pay thousands more to have them complete our roof. Please consider using a local roofing company that takes pride in their work and does what they say they are going to do. Please save time and a huge headache and stay away from this company.

We signed a contract in April 2019 for solar and have already paid for half if it. Still have NOTHING. And I'm constantly emailing and/or calling. They say they're working on getting an installation date but still nothing. Terrible customer service.

Mistake We started our renovation last summer. Our house is about 40 years old when we purchased it and haven't been taken care of since being built.I am not as emotional about what happened anymore. After all it is just a house, our HOME we love and just a lot of money that we are working hard for. But I would like to share our experience with other people and hopefully help them to avoid the mistake we have made. Here is a summary of facts to make a long story short...My biggest mistake was to think that the roof should be done last after we had to:v Change all windows in the house, v Fix the rotten foundation, v Do all carpenter's work that was very much needed, v Install rain gutters, v Paint the house v And then put the roof on almost like a crown on the princess....Another reason, I had thought if the roof was done last, painters and window installers will not walk on the brand new roof and will not damage it...Guess what?! After all the hard work has been done and over $30,000 spent for outside renovation, we finally invited the well-known Peterson Dean roofing company to:v Splash tar all over freshly painted walls, just installed expensive windows and $500 new screen door!v Make deep scratches on multiply brand new windows and new screen door with items falling from the roof!v Bend with the ladders and somehow puncture newly installed metal rain gutters!v Re-roof at first low level and then drag super heavy boxes with nails and shingles on freshly installed roof to work on the SECOND LEVEL!! (Total Crash for my idea to avoid extra walking by painters and window installers)v Sprinkle hundreds of dangerous nails all over our property. When we tried to contact Customer Service to stop this abuse and absurd conduct we got only answering system and calls were not being returned. Peterson Dean to save money sent only ONE WORKER to do the entire roofing job. That worker could barely speak English. We have addressed to him our huge concerns about the damages he's making and received no consideration. One more fact. Our neighbor across the street hired them as well. So they forgot to re-roof one big section of the roof and never returned to finish it. Second definite mistake we made is to hire Petersen Dean to replace our roof!We are NOT recommending this company.Stressful and disappointing.
