Lion Energy

Lion Energy has by far the best customer service I have ever received and I didn't even ask for it. I bought their UT700 LFP battery and everything worked great. Stupidly, I accidentally shorted the battery by touching the two wires together that were attached to each terminal. Don't ever do this; obviously. So, I went on their website to look at the specs and function of the BMS due to shorted terminals. Other than the website saying it should be protected against short circuit, I couldn't really find anything helpful until an associate started a text chat with me and so I asked him a few questions. Mainly, 'Is my battery worthless or can it be fixed?'. He gave me a few suggestions, sadly none of which worked. I tried a few other charging options at an auto parts store to try and wake up the BMS to no avail, so I thought I had destroyed the battery. Luckily, the associate was able to determine that it was still under warranty and sent out a return box for the damaged battery and a new battery within a few days. I didn't even think to file a warranty claim since I thought I destroyed the battery. So far the new battery has performed perfectly and is exactly what I needed. Thank you Lion Energy.
