They were nice until they couldnt get a sale. Everyone deserves good customer service as they may potentially be a customer in the future or refer others.

My experience so far with Nerdpower is great. Cygell is very prompt and is always going above and beyond.

I usually dont do reviews, but I had to make an exception, as I was told this company is built off its reputation. Well let me say, that reputation is built on a house of lies and unprofessionalism. Let me start from the beginning: The pitch: If you like a no hassle, pressure free experience; this company is not for you. The sales rep came to my home in March 2020 due to a recommendation from my realty company. The sales rep was nice enough but when I told him I wanted more time to weigh my options, he kept pressing me, asking me What else is there to look at? Its right here in front of you. I told him that I wanted to look at their reviews and compare them to other companies so he quickly pulled up their Google review rating. Unbeknownst to me, that is the only place you can find reviews for this company because they are so new. Shame on me, but shame on you as well. The communication: if you dont like texting, this is not the company for you. I dont mind it, but just be forewarned. If you live in a newer home, chances are you have an HOA. You must get approval from your HOA prior to the installation. I received a text message May 19th stating they had been waiting for approval from my HOA. They attempt to get it themselves before they ask if you can get it. When asked how long theyd been waiting on the approval, they said April 9th. So you mean to tell me you waited over a month to contact me and tell you do didnt have HOAs approval? They then asked if I wanted to proceed without it and theres no way I would do that. The fact that they even offered that was a humongous red flag. When I called my HOA, they said they never received a request form from them. I quickly filled one out and was approved within 2 days. I truly believe they never even tried to get the approval and left the burden square on me to get it done even when they said theyll do it. The installation: if your time is valuable, this is not the company for you (notice the trend). Luckily (but not really), theres a pandemic going on that is preventing me from going to work. My installation date of June 17th (today) had been scheduled since May 25th. 15 minutes prior to the scheduled installation window, I receive a text stating there had been a family emergency and that my installation will have to be rescheduled for June 29th. Let me be perfectly clear, with everything going on in the world, I am totally sympathetic to any family emergency that may arise. We are all humans and things happen. But I have 2 problems with this. 1) the fact that this big company with offices across the nation gets delayed 2 weeks because of 1 person tells me you arent as big as you advertised. In fact, it sounds like a mom and pop shop with local employees. 2) Were past 3 months and theres still no install. Do you mean to tell me the people that you are putting me behind these next 2 weeks have also been waiting the same amount of time as me if not longer? Because if so, thats much longer than the 2 months your sales rep quoted me. We will be halfway through summer by then and the benefits I was seeking wont come until next year. And if that was the case I would have waited until next year to buy solar AND have extra time to do my homework.Bottom line: this is the most unprofessional business Ive had the unfortunate pleasure of working with. At the time of this writing, my handler has forgotten when my meter was supposed to be installed (she thought it was today but it was actually scheduled for Friday, June 19th) and is just now telling me that SRP is still waiting for my W9 but doesnt know how Im supposed to send it or when they need it by. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You can probably find solar cheaper somewhere else (they admit that theyre more expensive than the competition but because of their stellar commitment) or you can pay more for better service. Either way, itll be a win win for you if you AVOID NERD POWER.

We are in the beginning stages with Nerd Power, so far I give only two stars. Its been around two months now and we still do not have a panel on our roof. My husband contacted Nerd Power to find out what the hold up was, he was told they were waiting on the city to approve the permit. My husband then called the city and found out it was approved over two weeks ago, it is just sitting waiting for Nerd Power. I realize they have lots of customers, but we are paying top dollar so I expect top dollar service. I see there are a lot of negative reviews on this company. I will continue giving my review through the remaining stages with Nerd Power, I hope to have positive reviews.Phoenix, AZ 85042 September 10, 2019
