I wish I could give SCAEC a half, a quarter, or maybe even a 100th of a star rating, but unfortunately I cannot. They have been promising for the last two-three years the wonderful Uconnect fiber optic system that was going to revolutionize internet for those of us living in the sticks. HA! Try again...I have signed a contract, talked to the Internet Marketing person, signed up, and have been told 1) You're on the drop list 2) They won't answer my call (meaning the installers wouldn't communicate with the Marketing person) 3) There is a problem in the line on the highway outside your house (my personal favorite), and yes I have the texts with the Marketing person to prove what I am saying. I need internet not to download cute cat videos, talk to my kids in Poughkeepsie, or re-watch Breaking Bad for the fourth time, oh no I need it to do my FRICKING JOB! I called on February 28 and was told the installers would be at my house the following week. Hmmmm, well time has a way of slowing down during these Covid-days, but I am pretty sure we are hurtling towards June with all possible speed according to the planetary rotation of Earth. I have cancelled my contract with the Marketing person and will unfortunately still have to buy electricity from SCAEC. You may wonder, well how are you doing your job? I sit in my car and prevail upon the good will of my sister and use her Windstream.

Everyone I have interacted with has been very kind. They respond to outages quickly.

I feel same way a 0 is more than they deserve I paid for internet on the 5th of September its January the 6th and still nothing they wont eaven answer my emails anymore and if you call them they just say that they have no idea when someone will be out to hook u up
