Do not recommend. QSD designed our system against manufacturer recommendations by using significantly undersized microinverters (Enphase IQ7 vs. IQ7Plus). This results in a significantly decreased energy output estimated at 750kWh annually by Enphase in turn resulting in a significantly decreased value of the system. The decreased output is mentioned nowhere in the contract or any other documentation.Nameplate system size in the contract: 3.4kW. Actual peak output due to undersized microinveters: 2.4kW resulting in severe power output clipping and decreased annual production.Refused to do anything about this while producing misleading production estimates after the fact - after installation in May 2020.In addition: did not connect the system to WiFi for reporting. Very slow to respond to requests (phone or email). No estimated production numbers or any other metrics other than the nameplate system size in the contract or any other documentation.Summary: two major failures with a number of smaller ones: (1) did not follow manufacturer recommendations in using radically undersized microinverters; (2) did not disclose any estimated production numbers in the contract or any other documentation.

We are really happy with our choice of Quantum Solar. We looked at 3-4 other companies first and had decided maybe solar wasn't for us. We love our solar and not feeling guilty to run our AC when it's hot. The people at Quantum are professional, genuine and kind, and they know their stuff. We only wish we had found them earlier. We think all our friends who own a house should have Quantum Solar. It was a no-extra cost investment, has saved us money and will save us more in a few years. Call them and tell them the Ericksons told you to.
