Thornton's Gas Services

Great folks here. We are moving there Neighbor who lives across the street and we needed access to their property to gain access to my customers property they were very accommodating to us for 3 days and we really appreciate that!

I am beyond impressed with Thornton's!!! I called in on Monday to setup as a new customer with them for home propane service. I let them know that our tank was empty and had run out a couple days ago. The gal on the phone wanted to make sure that we had propane ASAP to be able to run our furnace and appliances. She told me that they would send out a serviceman that day to put about 20 gallons of gas in the tank, do a safety inspection, and get everything safely turned on. I was instantly impressed that they would be able to do that on the same day. She also said that we would get delivery of propane to fill the tank within a few days. Oh! And she told me that as a new customer we would be getting a discount for our first delivery!! I was very satisfied with all of that and told her I would be available all day to receive her call for when to expect the serviceman. She called me a few hours later to let me know that the serviceman would not be available that day, so the owner himself was on his way to put some gas in the tank and get everything turned on. I was surprised and she said they didn't want us to go another day without gas for the furnace and appliances. Especially since it's been pretty chilly at night lately. The owner showed up within an hour and let us know that the serviceman has just called and would be available after all. So he went ahead and put the 20 gallons in but said he'd leave everything else so the serviceman could do the full inspection before turning everything on. He also said we would get our first delivery before Friday and assured that the 20 gallons would be more than enough to last us, with normal use. The serviceman arrived barely 10 minutes after the owner left and began his inspection. He then came inside to check if everything would turn on correctly. He was very nice and thorough and he had high praise for the company owner. That says a lot to me, when an employee has such positive things to say about the company and the owner of where he works. Today, Wednesday, just 2 days after I called to become a new customer, the truck arrived to fill up our tank! So, yes, I am EXTREMELY IMPRESSED and SATISFIED with the service - starting with the initial phone call to inquire about their service through to the delivery. Other companies told me it would be 5-10 days before they could get a truck out to us. And on top of that, one company had a $99 inspection/setup fee. Thornton's DID NOT CHARGE A FEE to have the owner and serviceman come out! I was not expecting to need to change our home propane provider as we had been with the previous company for over 4 years. But I'm actually glad that I did some shopping around and found y'all!!! Thank you Thornton's!!
