I chose Am.SolarStream b/c of positive reviews for flawless install from initial site inspection thru finanacials to mat'l delivery to permits & actual 1-day installation then power co. approval & turn on> all on schedule w/in 5months> Best thing was German Engr'd panels and a detailed design review down to the nuts n'bolts of roof fastening system> Reminded me of high tech DESIGN REVIEWs I'd been in at Los Alamos Laser system designs All along their tech rep kept me informed of progress> Also gave pertinent detail on PV panel performance, like to attach direcctly to metal roof for maximum tie down security (not likely to blow off in a storm) we did 'trade off' max.pwr to allow less than optimum tilt> But it went down from 345w max to 300w nominal w/caveat the PV panel is less stressed both electronically and mechanically (ie, they'll last longer than me at 80
