I needed to get power turned on for my parents, who dont speak English as their first language. The 2 GWP people I interacted with were very patient, courteous, helpful, and efficient.

Despite energy efficiency of nearly everything going up in the last 10 years, meaning on average each person uses less electricity, and despite rates going up constantly over the same time period, GWP is literally rationing power by deliberately shutting off power to sections of the city for hours at a time like we're some post-Soviet era 3rd world country. The excuse they're giving us is that it's hot... Apparently Glendale is an inferno but the rest of Los Angeles, Pasadena, Burbank, etc. are all nice and cool because none of them are experiencing rolling blackouts for days on end and power rationing.

They have a monopoly..... They are criminal. Complete and total rip off scam.... No repercussions. The most expensive electric I've ever had. Lived in many different places all of CA and US. We need deregulation.
