Altair Solar

I hesitate to write this review but I hope it will (1) alert consumers about poor customer service and (2) hopefully cause Altair to improve.Altair came out to look at our property and provide a quote in late January. Indra Budiman was Altair's salesperson. He was excellent.On February 14, 2020, we made our initial payment. After making the initial payment, Altair generally became nonresponsive. I have had to initiate every call and action to get anything done.Lani Arellano was our 'project manager.' The only way our project moved forward was for me to call her. At one point she advised that the project was stalled because the City had not approved the permits. The city advised us that the permits had been approved and were there waiting for Altair to pay for them and pick them up.Finally the installers came to install the system. I am happy with the installers and the system, despite the fact that we did not pass inspection the first time.Our install was completed in early May, three months after we made the initial payment. Since that time, I have not received any of the close out documents promised. Those documents would include permits, information about the system, warranty information and any follow-up service Altair would provide. After multiple inquires, Hana Greenwood e-mailed and indicated that I would receive the promised documentation by the end of June. I am still waiting.There are numerous solar providers in this space. Given the issues we have had, this is not one I would recommend. I hope Altair improves. Customers deserve better.

Excellent customer service and very professional. We had a great experience and highly recommend Altair to anyone looking for a solar company with comparable prices.

The best offer !!

Altair is professional! I first started my solar journey with Telsa- Big Mistake!! after 6 months of delays, and spotty or flat out incorrect information from their customer service office in Las Vegas, I cancelled. I price shopped (using SolarSage) and Altair was the best deal with quality panels. Charlie, Khaled, and Nader are local professionals who kept me informed all along the way. They know the area and saved me $1700 for a main panel upgrade that Tesla said was required. They knew that there was a much less expensive alternative with an SDG&E RMA unit. Top notch installation and communication. I signed on May 9th and was producing energy on August 2nd (with a 3-4 week SDG&E delay). I would highly recommend Altair to anyone thinking of going solar.
