Their website and operations are a complete joke. I also heard there is corruption but don't have personal experience w/ it, but would not be surprised. But they do provide a service that I use and it work pretty well.

LADWP is a criminal organization. My husband is a Ph.D. in biochemical engineering. He got into LADWP in 2002 after taking a test in the city in which he got an extremely high grade. The Filipina manager he worked under initially promoted her own Filipino people despite them not having as much experience as my husband and not having as high a degree as my husband. My husband filed an internal complaint against such discriminatory treatment in the promotion process. Employment (hiring, disciplining, promotion, demotion and termination) should be based on merit NOT a persons national origin or race, among other things (disability status, gender, age, etc.). This complaint got nowhere because of all the collusion, and ever since then, my husband NEVER GOT PROMOTED AGAIN. In 2015, my husband was physically assaulted by his assistant supervisor Ku Chung (who entered LADWP way latter than my husband and only has a bachelors degree but due to continuous retaliation my husband never got promoted). Aristotle Bragasin (who also entered LADWP much later than my husband and also only got a backelors degree but got promoted ahead of my husband even though my husband had trained him) was at the crime scene. He decided to perjury for Ku Chung as they are good friends. I took care of my husbands knee injury which he never had before with a clear last medical history. LADWP conducted another so-called investigation with the manager Ronald Dergregorian perjuring for the assailant claiming my husband had this injury before and thus falsely accusedKu Chung. Several doctors checked my husbands injury and recommended treatment, but LADWP decided to listen to the perjurer Aristotle while ignoring the forensic evidence (knee injury which my husband never had before), and decided my husband falsely accused Ku Chung. As a result, my husband got an additional 6-day suspension. When he came back, he was given excessive amount of work, excessive amount of monitoring by Aristotle (who wasnt responsible for supervising him), while Ku Chung continuously knocked on my husbands office wall and banged door. Ronald Dergregorian did NOTHING to prevent such workplace violence and harassment from happening and refused to transfer my husband to another location and even got mad when my husband tried to file a police report. My husband was physically and mentally traumatized. Then they forced my husband to take on multiple tasks when he had to work on the state diquat/paraquat test (which allowed the LADWP to be re-certified) just so they could force him to make a mistake. Due to the ongoing hostile work environment and the mental trauma from being disciplined AFTER having been physically assaulted and now the excessive onerous work, my husband made a mistake. When he was in the middle of detecting his mistake, Aristotle and supervisor Houri Mandjikian burst into the room and confiscated his work. My husband asked to re-do as part of the usual corrective action granted to EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE when the make mistakes, Houri refused and asked him to analyze his mistake. They used this preventable and correctable mistake to now frame him to be intentionally falsifying city records even though with scientific method of testing, my husband can be properly exonerated. We went to appeal in the City to no avail with Joseph Duffy the arbitrator IGNORING scientific evidence while only looking at what LADWP had to say. We are filing a lawsuit as there is no way LADWP can be reasoned with as it violates basically EVERY SINGLE employment regulations (discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower retaliation, workplace violence, perjury, obstruction of justice, intentional defamation, harassment). The collusion of the city with LADWP forced us to resort to a lawsuit. I have NEVER EVER seen so much criminal activity concentrated in one single workplace grossly violating employee rights. This is a criminal organization with perjurers ABOUND! The worst is the collusion and corruption within the city.

Dwp technician that had a job on 1015 3rd st SM, CA 90403 today at 9am is a rude employee that use profanity on our conversation. This not acceptable it looks like he's on drugs, you should test him seems like he was on cocaine truck # 39277 lic# 17056E1. In return I hope he gets fired on that drug test because he was rude and unprofessional. I dislike him I wish he gets fired because he mess up my day I'm super mad and I guess all release it by posting a review. No one told you work this job or weekends. #FTP

Sadly this is what Life has Come to Money over Morals. I truly hope God shows you all the wrongs you've all done. A Worker just yesterday didn't want to finish his job because it was 5 an lied saying he didn't have proper tools after being in the back for 30-35mins. Saying he will come back in the am an when we asked what are we supposed to do with our food an things he says leave the fridge open you'll be good. WTF my family an I had no power not even to charge a phone but this is Professional? LADWP you all are Disgusting excuses for Humans, I'm sure for a fact if that was any of your families, you wouldn't want that for them. Very Great job you all are doing for LA citizens just Great you ALL need to be called out for the, hundreds of families that have no choice but to pay the Dumbest Power Company in California

A fellow stopped at a rural gas station, filled his tank, and took a break by his car while drinking a soda.As he relaxed, he watch a couple of men working along the roadside.One man would dig a hole two or three feet deep and then move on. The other man came along behind him by about 25 feet and filled in the hole. The men worked right past the fellow with the soft drink and went on down the road. Overcome by curiosity, the fellow headed for the first man.'Hey there,' he said to the men. 'Can you tell me what's going on here with this digging?''We work for the county government, ' one of the men said.'But one of you is digging a hole and the other is filling it up. Isn't that a waste of the county's money?''Well,' one of the men replied, 'normally there's three of us - me, Rodney, and Mike. I dig the hole, Rodney sticks in the tree, and Mike here puts the dirt back.''Yeah,' Mike added. 'Just because Rodney's sick, that don't mean we can't work, does it?'
