I chose Solarunion for the following reasons:1. They have been doing this for many years.2. The estimator came to my house and took pictures, where the panels would be placed, and made a recommendation as to size of the system.3. I was kept informed every step of the way. Especially during the COVID-19 lockdown.4. The installation was very professional. the lead installer was very detailed oriented. He showed me how the system worked.5. Permit approval -- This went very smooth. There was just one additional requirement to add a second ground wire attached to the water line. This was corrected within a day.I was also surprised how quickly PGE was able to approve the interconnection agreement to allow me to operate the system.6. Cost -- Middle of the estimates I received. However, their professionalism and quality of installation won me over.

Found this Solar company on energy sage. Good thing they have the best equipment service and warranty in California. It was as easy as signing the paperwork, SolarUnion came thru with all the rest! Pge Bill is around zero and happy. Thanks a lot! Sincerely BK

We are very pleased with Solar UnionFirst came the sale, then the product, then the followup.We engaged with four women during the sales presentation, installation and follow up. Their names are Karissa, Renzo, Itzel and Erika. Each was professional, knowledgable and caring. The product was explained in detail during the sales presentation. We experienced a very soft sale and did not feel pressured in purchasing.During installation, the operations team made certain the process was very smooth and kept us updated each day.Follow through by Erika was comforting. She checked in to see if we were happy with the product, made certain we received .our rebate from the city and today assisted us with obtaining necessary documents required for filing our income taxes.If you are considering solar, I recommend contacting Solar Union.

I talked to several solar companies over the last couple of years, and ultimately ended up using Solar Union. My project involved a roof replacement as well as replacing the electrical panel, and with all of that I think they did a very good job with timeliness, communication and delivery. My system got connected to the grid about a week ago, and I'm now starting to see the impact on my usage. I'm looking forward to a nice, cool summer inside my home!
