About six years ago we went solar with Solar Harmonics in San Ramon. We had been searching for a solar panel system for our newly purchased home in Blackhawk for a number of months. We got many quotes, spoke to many salespeople and did a ton of research. One of the first companies we found was Solar Harmonics in San Ramon. We reached out to them and the process couldn't have been simpler. They asked for our PG&E bill (from our last home), and from that were able to predict our electricity usage for the year. We have a pool so they also included a variable speed electric pool pump and recommended a whole-house fan. We couldn't believe how easy the owner was to work with - he was patient, answered all of our questions and once we signed the contract we were off. The installation went off without a hitch - and did I mention they never even mentioned leasing the system? That was nice because I knew from my research that leasing and Power Purchase Agreements are big money-grabs by the solar industry. We added a ground mount system to complement the system on our roof and are so glad we did. This was six years ago and we now have two new Teslas that gobble up the electricity - but we still are covered with out solar system. So glad we went with Solar Harmonics! Highly recommend them

We were looking for a way to offset our energy costs in our house in Discovery Bay, so we asked around and found Solar Harmonics. Their director met with us, went over our energy bills and recommended a system that was well within our budget.During the meeting my wife and I asked a ton of questions, and each question was met with an honest, direct and informed answer. Once we decided on the right system that fit within our budget, work began within a couple weeks, and finished within three. The staff at Solar Harmonics was prompt, professional and always available to answer any of our questions or concerns. Now our system has been up and running for a year and we are loving seeing our monthly PG&E bill. Having your house earn money - seeing that minus $ sign on the bill! - is an experience everyone should have!Thank you Solar Harmonics, you are the best!'Updated review:It's been almost 7 years since we got solar and we couldn't be happier. We 'closed the circle' with an electric car (a Chevy Volt) and now every month when the PG&E bill comes it's fun! I know, crazy right? This month's year to date bill is a CREDIT of $464!!! Totally AWESOME!

I Sat down with Solar Hamonics to learn more about their services today. I was blown away about Jamies passion and knowledge about what his company does. I left him thinking PGE is doing what they have to do and we are paying the price. What not do what we got to do and take control over that. I 100% recommend anyone living in California that owns a home, to seat down with Solar Hamonics to learn how you can save money by switching to Solar. They are Diamond certified so you can trust you will get the best service from a company that highly value quality and integrity.

Solar Harmonics installed my system in Brentwood last year (August 2018). PG&E just completed my first annual true up, and I got a small amount of money back, exactly as planned. This system has been completely hassle free and exceeded expectations. Before purchasing from Solar Harmonics, I was quoted a price nearly double what I paid from a nationally known company that some of my neighbors went with. Jamie at Solar Harmonics treated me right all around.

Ive historically had high electricity consumption due to my affinity for air conditioning. When I bought an electric car, I decided it was time to seriously investigate solar power. I received competitive quotes from three highly rated companies. I had positive experiences with each but in the end, Jamie Duran of Solar Harmonics was the best solution for me. No regrets whatsoever. My roof has complex angles and surfaces, which face east, west, north and south. This is further complicated with shade cast by several large oaks that surround my house. I am amazing with the tools available to solar companies for analyzing the solar productivity potential of each of these roof surfaces. The constraints of my roof confined any roof-mounted system to a hodge-podge of paneled surfaces, which from an aesthetic point, was unappealing. As an alternate, I asked about using a ground-mounted system. I have a steep-sloped, unshaded, southeast facing area on my property that seemed like an ideal candidate for this. The first company declined to bid and the second increased the quote by 50%. It was clear that neither had much experience with ground mounted systems. Jamie Duran of Solar Harmonics said, No problem, itll be the same price as the roof-top proposal. Jamie shared their experience installing other ground-mount systems on steep hillsides and clearly answers all my questions. I was trading off a complex roof-top installation for a hillside ground-mount that had reasonably good access and proximity to the electrical hookup. Their experience made choosing Solar Harmonics easy, not to mention the excellent value they offered.Jamie informed me that the City of Pleasanton had an eight-week backlog on permitting, so I understood upfront that patience was part of the process. Jamie proactively kept me well informed through the several iterations back-and-forth with the city. He was very prompt in responding to any questions I had even on weekends. I couldnt have asked for better communication.Once the permit was granted, things moved fast. The twenty post holes were drilled, the mounting poles cemented in place, and the trench dug for the electrical hookup. In about eight working days the system was up and running. Joel, the foreman was very good at communicating how the project was coming along. At completion, he presented me with a very professional engineering package for all the system components and the documentation about how its all connected. This is essential for any electrician who works on system in the future. In reading through the package, I began to appreciate how much expertise and engineering goes into designing these installations. After just another week or two, the final step of getting PG&Es approval for hookup was completed. Throughout, Jamie Duran handled all the PG&E paperwork and applications and only occasionally had me sign docs via email. It was a painless process. I now have a system consisting of forty panels, optimally pointing southeast, which on a sunny spring day produces almost 95kWh (which I can monitor from my iPhone). My system is likely larger than most residences require but is ideal for me.I can wholeheartedly recommend Jamie Duran and Solar Harmonics. They earn top marks in professionalism, knowledge, communication, and excellent value solutions. I didnt know much about solar when I started but Jamie quickly provided knowledgeable answers to all my questions. Its clear that theyve been doing this a long time. I am so happy with my decision to go with Solar Harmonics.
