I had been shop around some solar companies. SunPower was very prompt response, comprehensive materials and good communication for the customers like me. Even their system looks very optimized for single home size solar equipment. Thus, I decided to make this project. I am satisfied for now. This is the first week of free Solar energy for my home. Thanks. SunPower.

Our solar experience started with getting quotes from 6 different solar companies. The quotes ranged from really high to really low and some were very detailed and some not so detailed. When Sam Johnson from Green Convergence came in our house we were skeptical. We had read that Sunpower had the most efficient panels but were going to be the most expensive. Sam was very professional in taking us through the whole process and the different panels and how they take care of each customer from beginning to end and even after installation is complete. We were very impressed and in giving us a quote we were SHOCKED that they weren't the highest price. In fact they fell in the middle of the 6 quotes we had received. We decided for this reason to go with Green Convergence and after going through the whole process we are thrilled. We got the panels installed and up and running with DWP within 31 total days! The panels look great on the back of the house. We absolutely love the monitoring app on our phones and hope it saves us lots of money on power in the future! Thanks Green Convergence!

I was not pleased with the communication frequency or the timeline conveyed to me. I placed my order and signed paperwork in mid-December 2018, was told that it could take 2-3 months. Therefore, I was expecting the process to be completed by March at the very latest. It wasn't until mid-June 2019 that I was finally allowed to turn on the system and start using the solar panels. I don't really care who delayed things, whether it was SunPower or LADWP...the SunPower rep/project manager should have set proper expectations from the beginning. There was very little communication throughout the process, and I had to call to get updates each and every time. Again, very poor communication and poor expectation setting. By the time mid-June rolled around, I had not heard from SunPower in nearly 2 months. No communication at all between March 4 and April 16. Then again, nothing between April 16 and June 11. Now that I can finally measure the kWh being captured, it appears the daily average is only 15.35 kWh...and that's for 17 days in mid-June with the longest days of the year! I was given an estimate of 8,588 kWh production annually, which now appears to have been roughly 30% too high. Even with a generous average of 20 kWh/day, it's still tracking VERY short. I was told that I would have a guaranty of certain production for a time, so I'm hoping SunPower honors that. Please let me know who I will be contacting to remedy the shortage with the guaranty.UPDATE: Within an hour of posting, I received a call from Mark, the CEO, with an apology, no excuses. This makes it clear to me that this company values customer satisfaction, at least when it comes to executive leadership. Will post final update following resolution.FINAL UPDATE: The owner made a personal stop by the house today (8/2/19) and told me they've put new structure in place (i.e. hired 3 more project managers) to make sure they are more equipped for business spikes and better able to set expectations and provide clear communication moving forward. I appreciated this personal touch and that he's taking actual concrete action as opposed to just giving lip service. Despite my bumpy-at-times service, I am confident this is a good company and would be happy to recommend them in the future. At the end of the day, all staff, technicians and leadership were kind, professional, and did good work.

Sunpower by Green Convergence is a professional and transparent company. They had the best quote and exceptional service. The install of our electric panel and solar panel went as planned. They made sure to communicate all the details along the way. Very impressed with this company.
