Price was very comparable to other vendors and all had similar sales presentations. I decided on Semper Solaris for 2 reasons, 1) I am a veteran and Semper Solaris is run by veterans. They offer a discount for veterans. 2) Semper Solaris was the only vendor that did not try to up sale me on other items (roof, rain gutters, etc).Installation was very quick and professional. Our only issue was our city permit process and SCE.I highly recommend our install team

Semper Solaris filed all the paperwork for my Home Owners Association; I didn't have to do anything. The installation was quick, completed in one day. The technicians came back to my house one more time after the City inspection to connect the system to my internet modem. A week later, Southern CA Edison sent a letter that they approved my solar system. Very painless. I went with Semper Solaris because they also do roofing, in case there are roofing problems.

Rae the solar consultant has done an outstanding Job for my family from explaining the system to designing the perfect system to showing us step by step what are panels are doing to produce electrical power for our house. Once the system was up and running she came out and walked us through the on/off breakers and switches. Outstanding service from an outstanding company.

We chose Semper Solaris to do our roof based on reviews. We decided the price was worth the quality install and product that we would get. They are not. They are overpriced and deliver a very standard, no-frills installation. We didn't even pass our first inspection. The process of scheduling a date, communicating about wants and needs, and getting information on what was literally happening above us was terrible. They lied about so much. Lie A: We will come by in the afternoon after the materials are delivered and work on the roof. If it is delivered early in the day, we will come earlier. That didn't come to pass. Our only material delivery happened in the morning before 8am. We waited the whole day for roofers, and nobody came. Lie B, which was told to me after I asked him what happened: We don't do any work on delivery days. This came from the same person that Lie A came from. They worked the next day, even though materials got delivered that day too. This mattered because they promised us they could start our roof the weekend before July 4th, and finish it before the holiday. Do you know how stressed out we were on July 4th when all we had on our roof were the original rafters?? I guess that was the first lie that should have clued me in... There are so many more lies that I can go on about, but it's worse than that. They left nails and roof debris in multiple areas. They left our aluminum siding in a crooked state when it was perfectly straight before. They used duct tape on our window, leaving terrible gunk behind. They left trash on our front lawn after eating their lunch there. The construction manager was ridiculously rude to me on the phone (though he did apologize the next day). To top it all off, the inspector, whose job is to look at roofs, literally told us that they didn't do a very pretty job. If you're thinking about Semper Solaris, I would seriously think twice.
