After doing our due diligence and interviewing 3 solar companies we decided to go with Vital Energy Solar. We were really impressed with Jay Jackson's experience and his comittment to service and communication. It feels great to have someone who is going to be around to take care of the system in the future and who takes pride in having a family business. Jay' s price was very competitive and his components excellent and local. He took the time to answer all our questions and did not rush us. What really impressed me was that after we had agreed to the price, Jay continued to find us savings, and to fine tune the bid. We were up and running in 5 weeks, even with the 4th of July holiday. The installation went very smoothly and the crew was professional and friendly. I tend to be fairly critical, but in this case, I have only positive things to report. The family dog, an excellent judge of character, jumped right up onto Jay's lap signaling her go ahead.

I chose Vital Energy Solar for my installation last year after doing much research and getting 4-5 competitive quotes. While a couple of the monster corporations came close to Vital's price, I believe the local hands on aspect of the company, where the owner himself is at my house supervising the installation is a great value. Jason has been doing this for many, many years, has knowledge and experience that is invaluable. AND they had the best price. AND they completed the install in a professional and timely manner. AND Jason is still following up with me, monitoring my system and providing service over and above the norm. Highly recommend, you won't be sorry choosing this company!

Your crew just finished the install of my new natural gas generator. Ive been very impressed with the project start to finish. I own a large property management company and a separate project management company in San Francisco, and if ONLY everything went as smoothly as this, Id be a happy camper forever!

These people are the BEST!!! My husband and I debated for about 5 years whether or not to get solar- were always turned down by earlier companies because we have a metal roof. So fast forward to PG&Es lovely forced PSPS events here this year in Northern California....we decided to look into a whole house generator....which ultimately led to us not only purchasing THAT, but we also had 20 solar panels installed about the same time. Double heaven! Our generator installation actually went live only 3 days before our first forced PSPS and our Generac generator worked exactly as it was described, saving us and our food for the next 4 days. The crews who worked on both the solar and the generator were prompt, professional, courteous and efficient. The staff both on-site and in the office have been the same, and all around an entire pleasure to work with, not to mention that theyre all just nice people. I recommend them 100%.
