We purchased 15 TS480-8k inverters in 2017. After 2 1/2 years of use, 11 of the original inverters had failed and needed to be returned for warranty service. 2 of the replacement inverters failed after warranty replacement. Warranty service is very slow. I still am waiting for warranty repair of an inverter sent to them 9 months ago. The inverters being down cost me $3,800.00 in energy cost to the power company. I would not recommend. There is no way to contact the company and talk to a real person.

These inverters break down regularly. We have eight installed in our commercial building and we have had innumerable warranty repairs/replacement. The problem is we almost never have our system working fully due to one or more is down. Before the company honored the 10 year warranty with relatively decent turnaround time on repairs. Currently we have had one inverter out approaching six months while the company sits on it, 2 others were recently repaired, but this took several months. Both myself and my installer have contacted the company without any improvement. The company didn't even respond to my inquiry at all. My installer got a canned response. Be very cautious of using these units and relying on a warranty repair/replacement system that is not acceptable in my opinion. We will have to have a central standard inverter installed due to these unreliable inverters and a company that does not stand behind their product in my opinion.

We purchased 9 HiQ inverters with our Solar installation in 2016. In 2018, 2 inverters failed, and in 2019 3 more failed. The company did not provide replacements and required the inverters to be sent back for repair. Meanwhile, we are not producing energy in 125 of our solar panels because there is no inverter. I cannot recommend this faulty product. Buyer BEWARE!
