Michael will tell you whatever it takes to sale you a system. He'll throw out Jeff's 30 years of experience. Scratch the surface a little and Jeff has 30 years of incompetence.
If you educate yourself and read all the documentation then question the work, Michael is quick to talk down to you falling back on "30 years of experience." Keep in mind, Michael is an idiot who doesn't seem to have reading comprehension skills or the ability to do simple math. Honestly, he's sales and you should not expect anything but lies from him.
Go to Jeff, and he'll lie saying he reviewed your system (after removing his access) and then provide no fact to back up his design.
Favorite quote from Jeff, "optimal is ambiguous". Not really:
optimal (adjective) - best or most favorable; optimum.

Solar Side Up installed our system in 2014, worked hard to do a ground mount that other contractors wouldnt do, as our metal roof wouldnt take a solar array. Recently I discovered one of the micro inverters had failed. SSU ordered the replacement part and walked me through the (easy) replacement so Im back at full power!

Great company! We moved into a house with solar already installed and I had no clue what I needed to do with it. Michael proactively reached out to me when he saw my reporting system was down. He also came to my house, free of charge, to inspect both roof and solar damage from all the Colorado hail storms. He and his team are friendly, trustworthy, and I will definitely be using them for all my solar needs.
