Solar Works!

Derek and his team are incredible. We have not had an electric bill in years. The installation guys were friendly, fast and efficient. Derek guides you through the entire process from start to the end. We couldn't be more happier.

We had Solar Works! build an off-grid system for us which powers our lights, water pump, stove fan, air filtration, comfort fan, 2 phones, 2 laptops, speakers, power tools (not used daily but I do occasionally use a power saw to cut wood which is a very large load), blender, and mini-coffee pot. We had two outages over the winter, during the snowpacalypse (work too much to sweep daily, lots of clouds) when we hooked up to grid power using the conveniently located input. We probably would not have had those outages had we been parked the appropriate way to utilize the array tilt mechanism that was installed (we left the panels flat on the roof all winter).The installation was quick, and racking sturdy, no leaks have developed or will (I think).The total cost was around 2k. It literally allows us to live with all the comforts of modern technology, wherever we can park with decent solar access. The savings on rent have been massive. If youre a 20 something trying to make it in Durango, youre probably going to lose all your savings and become homeless in a matter of time, but we have been able to live well and even save a little bit!
