As other reviewers have noted you will want to avoid working with Dave and his team at Metro Solar. In my experience they are highly unprofessional and as a business philosophy seem to cut corners wherever they can on installations. Good luck getting any type of resolution when their corner cutting results in issues. I can think of no good reason to expose yourself to the risk of working with this company. You have been warned, but if for some reason you like to take chances with your time and money keep the following in mind. 1. Make sure they provide you with a detailed quote including an itemized breakdown of materials and labor costs. Failure to demand this could be costly. 2. Make sure they spell out exactly what their warranty on parts and labor covers, or you may find not much if anything is covered. 3. Lastly, save yourself the trouble and use another contractor.

Kathy and the whole team were absolutely wonderful. Kathy is the best and was always very responsive and always very friendly. She was an absolute joy to work with and a light in the long, dark process of replacing a hail damaged roof with solar. I never worried when I was working with her. I had Metro Solar remove and replace my solar panels and I couldnt have been happier with their work!The technicians were on time, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would 100% recommend Kathy and her team! Thanks for being awesome!

Removal of Solar ThermalKathy and the team were absolutely amazing with us! They were so kind, helpful and quick and helped us out when no one else would. We recently purchased a home that had non-functioning solar thermal installed and we needed to remove it to replace our roof. Kathy and the team were eager to help drain the system and get out there within a few days of us calling! No one else would help us just drain the system. Other companies would say 'it's not worth their time' but Metro Solar was on it and helped us out quickly and efficiently! Now, we have an amazing new roof and the solar thermal taken off. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone getting solar.

I have had great service and reliable products from Metro Solar.

Metro Solar was contracted to remove and re-install my solar panels due to a current hail storm that resulted in needing a new roof. The removal of the solar panels went off without a hitch -however once the roof was completed I received a call from Kathy stating that they could not get a crew out to re-install my panels until January. Obviously, that was unacceptable - they did get the re-install completed however it took over three weeks to complete the re-installation. When the job was completed I ask for a small discount (less than 5% of the total job) due to the delay. Their response was that they required payment in full and they were at the mercy of inspectors and contractors plus they had to pay overtime to the workers to even get my job done. This is a classic case of taking on too much work and not being properly staffed to complete the job in a timely fashion. I would NOT recommend Metro Solar to anyone looking for solar removal and re-install.Jason Triplett
