Coronado installed a 40 panels system at the end of 2019, beginning of 2020, did a great job and we are enjoying the results. Dennis Mee is a class act! Emily and the Pedro's installation crew were great as well!

This company installed my solar two years ago. The Inverter went bad this past summer, and the replacement has not been working since install. Repeated calls for repair service have been unanswered and ignored. Now I have an expensive system that doesn't work at all on my roof, a complete waste of money.Edit: 8 months later, I still do not have system monitoring.

This was by far the worst financial mistake of my life. $46,000 is rediculous for a solar panel system, but I didn't know that at the time. I trusted these people and was let down time and time again. It sounded like a good idea. The salesman said it would replace our bill, and he added additional panels so we could power a heater for our pool for when we get one in the future. The loan included a pool pump, insulation in the attic, and a nest thermostat. I was told we needed to use 30% tax credit as a down payment on the loan after several months or else the payment would increase. Well, what they don't tell you is that you don't get the 30% tax credit back all at once. Instead, we are getting small refunds each year. We bought the system back in December of 2017. The solar panels, insulation, pool pump, and nest thermostat were all installed over the course of several months. The people who installed the insulation left bits of insulation all over the garage and it gets everywhere every time my husband goes into the attic. After the system was installed I kept having to ask what is the next step, and each install happened with week gaps in-between. I felt like I was often forgotten about and had to remind them that I needed to get this system turned on soon as the solar panel loan bill would be due soon. Well, after several months, I again reahed out asking, 'so what's next?' And I was told that I could have had my system turned on 'for a while now.' No one told me it was ready or how to turn it on. I had four months that I had to pay a full electric bill and the solar panel loan bill. When I reached out to the office staff to express my disappointment, all I got was 'I'm sorry,' with no solutions. I reached out to Eric Bash, who said I would receive a 2 month credit to help pay for the 4 months of overlap of the loan and electric bill. After this promise, he fell off the planet. I tried reaching out several times through text and voicemail with no return of call. I never received the 2 month credit even after a year or more of waiting and wondering. Over the course of the last 2 1/2 years, our electric bill varies from the $10 admin fee to $75+. That is on top of the bill we pay for the solar panel loan (which btw has a lean on the home...). The solar panel loan payment also increased from $200/mo all the way to $310/mo because we didn't get the full 30% tax refund all at once to put down on the loan. Our electric bill used to vary from $160-230, so we are way past that now and locked into the loan since it has a lean on the home. I had to call a different company for maintenance who cleaned the panels, which helped improve the efficiency. I still never know if I'll suddenly get an electric bill in addition to the $310 solar panel loan bill. My husband and I are already tight financially and this particular loan has made our credit situation so much worse. We cannot refinance our home loan since the solar loan is so high and would be required to be paid off before a refinance. It also pushed our debt-to-income ratio over the edge and our credit scores plummeted. I was young when this all happened and I definitely learned a hard financial lession. Please don't make my mistake. Don't get a solar loan with the hopes of paying it down with the 30% tax credit, because it is credited over the course of several years, not all at once. And don't ever go with this company who will lie, forget, avoid, and leave you high and dry once they made their money!!
