S.U.N Energy

I will do my best to give a sincere review. My wife and I recently purchased a house that was built in 1986 that still had its original insulation. I did extensive online research for a company to come remove the current insulation, sanitize and install new insulation. As like many of us do, once I started looking Facebook magically started putting adds for it on my feed for insulation companies. S.U.N. Energy was one of the first I saw. They were advertising a great special for the month of June in my area. When I researched them directly I found they had some very good views but a few things concerned me. 1. They were not local to me 2. Didn't have a lot of reviews 3. Didn't have a good rating with the BBB. I approached with caution but still reached out. I was did business with a local paver company that had an 'A' rating with the BBB and it was the worst contractor experience of my life. So I gave them a shot. In all honesty they were the best insulation company that I interviewed. They gave me Free estimate over the phone. When I expressed my concerns about them not being a local company, they drove down (3 hours) to give me some face to face time. I dealt with Shawn and it was a pleasure. He thoroughly explained the process to me and multiple options for payment. No high pressure sales. He was also the team leader that showed up on time to our home to get the job done.. He and his crew were all fantastic. They made what is by nature a very messy job as manageable as possible. They took all necessary precautions and cleaned up after themselves. It was very good transaction and based on my experience I would highly recommend this group. My original concerns were completely unwarranted, even if they did come from a Facebook advertisement.

3 weeks ago I purchased insulation from a big orange box store, 2 bags in I missed a step and put a hole in my drywall. Sometime later I seen a FB ad for insulation and decided to get an estimate. I was pretty surprised at the estimate considering the material they were using. I did expect it to be more (especially now having my own taste of the work). I believe with the material I purchased along with drywall repair I paid more then just having them complete it from the start.

We bought a new house only to discover rat droppings in the attic that had been accumulating for years. The inspector said it was the worst case he had ever seen, calling it '10 on a scale of 1 to 10'. It needed work which was beyond my husband expertise. The quote seemed a little high at first but, after seeing the extent of the project, I now see it was reasonable. More importantly, both my husband and our general contractor checked up on the workers several times and were in agreement the guys did the job that needed to be done. In this heat they worked so hard to get the job done. We were very satisfied and would recommend them.

My pest control company referred me to this group. They removed the insulation, sanitized the attic and put down new insulation. Job was done well. Cleaned up after themselves and my wife and I are pleased with the work.

I added insulation through their community program after receiving a flyer on my door. I knew it was something I needed to do and had already done some price shopping. They turned out to have the best offer. So I hired them to install, they showed me before and after pictures of the attic. Big difference! Professional crew. I would certainly recommended.
