Anytime it rains (which is a lot) our power goes out or flickers. We live in magnolia point. Our house is only 2yrs old. Theres no reason our electricity should go out so often. Our entire neighborhood is out of power right now because of a 10minute storm not worse than any of their storm. Its been out for 2 hours. I miss JEA.

Its impossible to beleive that with all the funding made available to state and local governments that the city of Green Cove Springs has such outdated CI & KR. The appointed and elected leadership have chosen to provide its employees with hours of operation Monday - Thurs, 7am to 5:30pm, with no employees managing electric Ops during these off the clock hours. Considering the near daily and predictable weather patterns during summer months, one would expect that this utility would be staffed, 24,7, 365. One has to wonder what the OT cost are for Friday and weekend call-outs. Go figure. What a Charli-Foxtrot!

They have insanely high rates and I have no idea why the city is even controlling the electric. We need Clay Electric to come to Green Cove. The workers there are rude as well . And they aren't even open on fridays. They run this place like its 50 years ago. The city of Green Cove needs to catch up to the times. They are extremely outdated and have to buy our electric. With the way Green Cove is growing they need to step aside with the utilities.
