Bison Roofing and Solar installed both a new metal roof (with insulation) and a 14.8 Kwh solar system.Although work was delayed in starting by several factors (engineering, the COVID shutdown of the permitting offices and, to some extent, weather).Bison's office personnel kept me informed of the progress (and delays) and made applicable changes when necessary.Once the work began it went relatively smoothly.During the construction phase there was an onsite manager to quell any problems and the only delay was a misunderstanding of the type and amount of fascia to be provided.Once the roof was completed, the solar was installed. It took an additional several days to get the final (separate) inspections by permitting, Fire code inspector, FP&L and get the meter swapped out.All of the permit inspections were passed the first time.Time from signing the contract to work start: Approximately 6 months.Roofing and solar took approximately 7 weeks to complete.I would (and have) recommend this company to friends.

Professional, Knowledgeable and Honest. Adam and his entire team exceeds all expectations for working with any company in the Solar Industry. It all started with educating and passing on more knowledge than I knew what to do with, which is what was the first thing that stood out to me. The importance of giving all of the necessary information before any focus on sale is what exemplifies their passion for what they do. Anyone looking to install solar needs to speak with Bison Roofing and Solar to make sure they receive the education that every home owner deserves. They truly take pride in not only saving you money but making sure you are happy. The best way to put it is to stop renting power and start owning your power. Thank you again to the Bison team!

Long and short of it: I dont believe the project lived up to the sales team promises BUT I guess that should be expected when youre dealing with a team that works on commission.Has our electric bill ever been the $15 that they promised? No.Is it lower than it was before solar? Yes.Are we saving money as of now? No.Would I do this project again if given the opportunity? Unknown. Ill have to see how the FPL rates change over the coming years. I hope that in time, the benefits will outweigh the cost. With that said, the owner Adam really does care about his clientele and for that aspect, I am satisfied.

Had a new roof installed on my home a little over 2 years ago in Orlando. New roof developed a leak in the garage which caused plywood and drywall damage. I called Bison and they said they only offer a 2 year workmanship warranty (sub par for the industry I found out). I asked if they could come out and look but they told me the warranty had just expired and they do not do work in Orlando any more. I asked if they could recommend a local contractor and no one ever replied to my message/text. I found another contractor to fix my problem and they said no flashing was ever installed where the roof met the wall and that caused a 'pooling' effect and started leaking. As you can see in the picture there were shingles on top of bare plywood!! $2,200 repair bill on a 2 1/2 year old roof!!!! Sadly disappointed because the experience was great when they installed the roof.

Dear Floridians,I had my roof replaced by Bison Roofing in 2017 I recently discovered a leak in my garage. I called them numerous times and they did not call me back. I even sent an e-mail. The first response from the lady on the phone was; 'You only have 2 years warranty'. REALLY??? That's how you tread your customers? Currently 06-08-20 I am still waiting to hear back from them. Be aware if you have a problem with the install you are on your own. I have a different company come out this week to get the leak fix. Thank you Bison Roofing :-( Your roof install only lasts 3+ years??? What an disappointment.
