Solar Energy World

My family and I live Hudson Florida, and we have been talking about solar for along time. We were hesitant since we had been reading lots of reviews about customers in the Tampa area that complained about feeling scammed by the solar installers they had chosen. Some solar companies mix in attic insulation with the solar.claiming that this would reduce their electric usage by 40%....and were told by the solar company that the solar would cover the rest of their electricity usage.only to find out later that they overpaid for a solar system that didnt cover their needs! We really wanted an installer with a long track record with lots of good customer feedback. Then we met with Solar Energy World. The sales rep was very honest and up front.indicating that their MD based company was 10 years old, but that they had opened the Tampa based office several months ago. We havent had the solar panels installed yet.but thus far things are moving along smoothly, and we feel that this company was the right choice! We are very excited that we chose Solar Energy World, AND that we chose them in time to still qualify for the 30% federal tax credit which is reducing at the end of this year!

I did not purchase from them. Brent cotton really puts himself on a large pedestal. . Then of course said that this deal is only good if you sign up today which should not be how you get a sale. Thats what timeshare salesman do. If your stuff is that good then it will sale its self. I left a review per the request of the company in an email on how it went and I told them that I didnt like the way Brent spoke to me or the message he left me. Then 15 minutes after leaving the review for feed back from the site, Brent calls again (keep in mind that this is twice now after he said he will not follow up again) and asks about the review. I was leaning towards still going with this company but after that last voicemail I was done. A couple of weeks later, I get an email from the company again saying that my proposal will expire soon. So I replied back to say that I purchased from someone else and basically didnt care for the salesman. A day later I get another email from Brent. So unprofessional. I cant recommend this company with salesman like this working for them.They just came into the Florida area and still do not even know all of the rules as they were mistaken on a couple of things
