Can't justify the offset of the upkeep. Can be hundreds to thousands for replace or repair, so I'll put my money elsewhere. No communication either.

Feel like we had no idea what we were getting into. We bought our first house that came with the solar panels already installed after the house set empty for over a year. The initial repair to get it running was over $5,000.00. It's since cost us hundreds to thousands to maintain and fix. I felt when we would call for genuine help with the system, and because the travel distance from where we lived, it just cost too much not to offset it's use. So when my husband lost his job, and after trying to reach out after the glycol levels started getting low and no one would respond to my texts or messages when I knew the system wasn't working properly from my basic knowledge, we had to make the tough decision to go with something else that worked for us. I felt humiliated when I would ask how the system worked because we've never had anything like this and we genuinely needed help and instructions. As a homeowner, I can't justify the added expenses that didn't compensate for the cost of upkeep to the unit. And what hurts worst is the lack of apology for not returning my messages when I truly need help... that's why I feel like one star is appropriate.
