Diverse Power

Unable to reach an employee to report an outage. The lines roll over to a voicemail rather than a live operator. Customers should be able to reach a live representative regardless of the hour or it being a long weekend. Definitely seems to be mom and pop operation rather than a professional utility service. Also their program to pay for a solar panel is a joke. The panel never created enough power to offset the monthly cost. Once again this a mom and pop, smalltime utility not a professional organization.

Power flickers and goes out too much in Harris County. We had Carroll EMC at our last home in Newnan and never had problems with power. I wonder what the issue is with this power company.

So the power again is out in our neighborhood in harris county. This is like living in a third world country because we don't have consistent power over a 12 month period. I called customer service to ask what is the cause of the outage. Her response was I dont know. I asked how long it would be until the power is on? Her response I don't know. I asked is there supervisor you can call to ask. I don't have anyone I can call. I never had these problems in columbus.

I called headquarters this morning to have a light put on my telephone pole. The customer service rep that took my call was rather rude. The bill is in my husbands name and I politely explained to her that hes passed away. Although Im on the account as well she had the audacity to say, Well, the primary account holder has to sign for it. We cannot do anything if hes deceased. Now at this point, Im totally disheartened, still grieving because its only been 2 months since hes passed. I called to have a light put on the pole for extra security, but now Im offended. I let her know how offensive she was to me and she said, Im sorry I was the first person to offend you! Then click, she hung up on me. Diverse Power- up your game on professional reps and I also suggest you find more compassionate people that understand loss of a loved one. At this point I have no idea what needs to be done to get a light out here.
