I'm on prepaid and I've always had a funny feeling that emc really uses the method to steal your money. So I put it to the test. I put $35 on my account and cut off all of the power to my house for a whole 24 hours...to my surprise, after the meter was read (under 30 kwts), they took a whole $25 off my account.. im literally paying almost $100 every week!. they are stealing from us!! It deserves not one star!!!

Power outage with entire family in town for christmas two years in a row? The multiple outages per month are ridiculous. Half my neighborhood is Georgia Power and half EMC. They seem to always have power when we don't.

Excelsior EMC works hard to make sure that the lights are on for all of their consumers! Staff is always friendly and helpful when I'm in the office. I can add that the rates are considerably lower than Ga Power as I have had both services.
