Was supposed to be aGreat experienc and save us money. Instead, we received a battery system with panels, a new 'smart electric meter', and a utility bill that has tripled. How does this happen? I dont even know. Multiple attempts to get corrected and both Sunrun and electric company pointing fingers at eachother while we hope we have enough to pay an electric bill each month and not get our power cut off.

Would be zero stars if that was an option. System keeps breaking but customer service will not respond. Maybe I need to skip a payment to get their attention

Poor communication. No one called to help fix the problem. They continue to receive my payments even though the solar is broken and batteries are dead! They refused to give credit even though they did not fix the solar and we are not receiving services! I will not recommend this company. I wish I can turn back time! I wish I didn't give my business to this company!

Customer Care service has poor communication. Unless its myself initiating the phone call, no one from Sunrun keeps u updated on any progress on service repair. Took almost a month to get a technician to look at the system (system was fine but Tesla batteries wont hold the charge), after the visit I was told I had to wait to hear from them after they get in touch with Tesla. Ive called customer care every week for the following month with no service date in sight. Then Ive been emailing customer care weekly for almost a month now with NO response NO reply. Only reply I get is the automatic email response with the promise that they will reply in 2-3 business days... its going on 20-30 business days, on top of at months worth of weekly calls. This problem with the batteries started Dec of 2019, so basically I haven't had the batteries working for almost 6 months/half a year! That is reflected on my increased utilities bill. Customer care is ignoring their customer. I pay my bills on time for a product which has been under performing. Sunrun has no sense of urgency or at the very least the respect and professionalism to reply to a loyal customer. I will however say that customer care on the phone are actually pleasant to talk to, but still have no useful information or convey a sense of urgency in getting my batteries fixed.

Was promissed a low electricty bill, bought the system but have never gotten below $100 mo. There are only 2 of us in the house and we are at work most of the day. We showed them our current bill at the time and let them know that we would be installing centeral air in the next week, i showed them the AC unit so that they could increase the number of panels to cover the additional power usage. Well its been several years now of them telling me that the system is producing plenty of power, and that nothing is wrong. Why is my bill $200+ some months? They wont admit that they messed up and didnt calculate the usage correctly. Im not a solar usage figurouter guy, thats their job. Inverter has gone out and I had to notify them. My system was off for whatever reason and once again, I had to notify them, who knows how long it was not working for, i cant tell because my bill is always high.The install went good and the people on the phone are nice, but their accountability and morals are aweful. Why would I pay tens of thousands of dollars to buy a system that only drops my bill by tens of dollars???I do not recomend this company!
