Sawtooth Vista Rentals

Our family has had the privilege of staying at the wonderful homes in Stanley managed by Sari and Scott of Satooth Vista. They go out of their way to make sure the homes are not only well maintained, but improved every single year. Their communication is prompt and thorough, and there are never surprises. The homes are beautiful, and the settings are spectacular! I can't recommend them highly enough.

For the last 3 years we have rented a home from Sawtooth Vista Rentals and have always had a great experience. The home is always clean and ready to relax in. We are looking forward to visiting Stanley again next summer and renting from Sawtooth Vista Rentals!

Summer 2020 will be my fifth summer returning to Stanley and renting from Sawtooth Vista Rentals. They are a pleasure to work with. They are responsive, friendly and professional. The house is always immaculate and well-equipped. I was first drawn to them for the nice variety of properties offered. I fell in love with a unique home in their portfolio and come back year after year. Highly recommended!

YOU WILL WANT TO READ BEFORE BOOKING A HOME!My daughter was getting married in Stanley and was working with Sari to coordinate bookings for 3 separate homes for the bridal party and bride and groom's family. Because there was a few days lapse in getting our booking information turned back into her, she went ahead and rented the home that we had selected (mountain view home) to someone else without contacting my daughter 1st to give her the opportunity. My daughter unfortunately then selected another home, the Salmon River Home, which she thought would be comparible to the other 2 homes our party had rented. We arrived after a long day of travel at the Salmon River Home to find a very outdated cabin with very hard and uncomfortable mattresses! The next day we see the other family homes in our party were lovely, spacious, updated, more amenity retreat homes with TVs, and comfortable beds, etc.The worst of all issues is... the home was infested with MICE! We saw multiple mice scurrying about! The day before we checked out we set a trap-- when, mind you there were a few traps found in the laundry area...so they knew of a problem...The day we were leaving, we woke up to a dead mouse in the trap! Disgusting! We left it for them and cleaned up the home in every other way. My daughter was cleaning up toys from the grandchildren, and looked under the couch and found food we had not brought in, left from other guests. This is obviously a contribution to the mice problem..food being left out on the floor for them! When we returned home, I called Sari to let her know of the mice problem. She just said 'well it's a mountain area, and there is mice', and probably came through an open door. I explained that I live in a wooded forest area, and that was clearly an infestation there! She spoke to the Owner and he agreed to refund us $50, which was not nearly adequate between 3 couples and two small children having this experience, much less at our daughter's wedding! I would not recommend anyone to stay in the Salmon River Home! ...and please note- this is the first bad review I have ever given! But I wouldn't want any one else to have this situation!!
