I had Kapital Electric do work back in 2018: a 220 V upgrade to my garage with EV charger and solar panels. The work was done with quite good quality, however it has not been without challenges and disappointments. First was the duration of work: started months after contract execution and dragged on for about 4 months. Second was the number of panels: after measuring my roof they proposed 10 panels but when they went to install, only 8 would fit (they did prorate my costs accordingly, though). Third and most disappointingly has been the productivity of the panels: after 2 years of tracking, the panels have been producing only 2/3 of the energy estimates provided by Kapital Electric (even after considering the reduced panel count). Given the limited production, the return on investment now will exceed the life of the panels.

I chose Kapital Electric because they were a 'platinum dealer' through the Quietcool website. They installed a Quietcool fan in my house that broke 15 minutes after installation. They came right back out and said that the fan was defective and has a bent blade and they had to do a warranty claim. A warranty claim the same day the fan was installed. A couple days later they called to collect payment. I wasn't paying until I had a working fan. We scheduled an appointment for yesterday for them to come out to reinstall the new fan and they completely blew me off. I called them and the girl who answered the phone was going to look into it and call me back. I emailed them as well. I still have yet to get a response from them. I don't recommend Kapital Electric. Use another company.

Most unprofessional company ever. They are paying their employees cash for overtime and straight time. not time and a half for anything over 40 hours. When I went to pickup my check from their bensenville office it reaked of weed. They claimed it was a skunk but I wasn't born yesterday I know what pot smells like. I would not hire this company to do any of your electrical work.

Just had a check-up performed on whole house generator by Deon from Kapital. What a pleasant , courteous and conscientious service provider. He found the reason for the sluggish start up (a bad spark plug) , changed the oil which had been neglected. I'm a fan.
