I had HPE install a wall charger for an electric vehicle. From start to finish they made the whole process easy and efficient. Communication was quick and responsive and they took care of everything from arranging for a city permit to scheduling an inspection. The work that was completed is also high-quality.

My one experience with this company was very disappointing. My stand by generator failed and when I called to ask about it then owner diagnosed the problem on the phone, then sent a technician to my house without the part. He tested the generator , confirmed the problem and then told me he didn't have the part. Unbelievably, HPE did not have the part and I had to wait to fix my emergency generator for two weeks. The bill was then doubled to account for the return time to install the part. Be careful!

I unfortunately had a poor experience with HPE. I called them to replace some landscape light bulbs as I have some ground-based lights and also some tree-based lights. HPE sent a tech to my house who assess the lights and said he did not have those bulbs stocked on the truck, so he would have to order them. He ordered them and returned a few weeks later and then said that what he ordered did not fit and that I have a very unique type of bulb that HPE can not find/replace. I was then billed over $200 for 2 service calls, with no actions being done to replace the bulbs. I called HPE and they agreed to waive the 2nd service call charge, so I paid them $100. When the weather warmed up, I looked at one of the ground-based lights, easily removed a bulb with a simple twist, read the bulb-type printed on the base and immediately found multiple bulb suppliers on Amazon. I ordered replacement bulbs (made by general electric so hardly a unique supplier) and replaced all the ground-based bulbs. The information the tech provided was incorrect and then I had to pay for their mistakes. Maybe this was an isolated incident but one I thought was worth sharing.

This company is very professional and easy to work with and are very friendly.
