Paul is both the sales rep and the installer. When it comes to knowledge about doing the install, no one could be better. At the initial consultation, he had all the information ready and clear to understand: an analysis of our electric bill and site layout to determine system size, the hardware he recommended to meet our goals and maximize our savings, and even a list of materials right down to the number of screws and brackets needed. Very thorough! We interviewed 5 other companies, all big names, mostly with good reviews...but in the end we chose Magitek because Paul worked with us to give us the solution we thought was best. After signing the contract he and Jacqueline kept us informed of the progress toward installation and took care of all the details to ready us for installation from the structural engineer approval to obtaining the building permit. We really didn't have to do anything. The installation took 2 days to complete. Very clean looking install. They even ran conduit through my basement rather than over the roof (which would have been easier) to make sure it looked good too. When they were done, they cleaned up everything. Paul finalized things by walking the inspector through everything to make sure there were no issues on passing inspection. I would highly recommend Magitek to anyone wanting to install solar.

Just had a 58 panel install on my roof by Paul. Researched leasing and PPA options but decided buying a system, with current incentive plans through both Illinois and federal, made the most sense. Had bids from 4 companies. Could not be happier that I chose a small local company. Let someone else pay the salaries of the MBAs at the other large companies. Paul was always available with answers to my questions. Work was done in a neat, timely and professional manner. Cannot recommend Jacqueline and Paul highly enough.

If we were installing solar we'd absolutely go with Magitek. Very knowledgeable, likeable and well recommended. Paul was very upfront about our downsizing timeline (3-5 years) and need for a new roof before installing solar (our 13 yo roof is 3 years too old) as being obstacles to the financial benefits. When we move, we will have Paul install solar. Highly recommend.
