I would give them 0 stars if it was an option paid 2600 on july 6th come home to a disconnect for August 6th after being told our bill would be due the 20th.. so we paid 1900 on August 6th they told us our next bill was due on the 22nd for 3000 but it meter wouldn't be read to September 3rd.... Small business trying to make it your killing us and the response to the whole thing is we are going on Wisconsin rates well I guess but three bills in six weeks!!!!

I'll always have issues with a monopolized utility market. However, Alliant's energy audit has saved me $. I required the services of thier line techs while residing my house. They arrived on time, were polite, knowledgeable and friendly each time.

I just received a collection bill for sept 2016 that was pass due and in collections yesterday 4/29/2020. I called the collections agency showing them that I had moved much earlier than that along with my last check to alliant and also told them I went into their Burlington Iowa office to tell them I am leaving and to take the service out of my name. I was told they can charge me all the way up to when the tech goes to read the meter which was three months later and probably another tenant later. this is so wrong
