Will be there between 8 am to 5 pm are you out of you mind customers have full time jobs so they can afford to pay for gas service

My Son purchased a home in Grimes, after selling his first home in Des Moines. After 3 years with MidAmerican he found out your company had the gas service, discovered after completing his move late Friday night. He had no heat Friday night since the gas was turned off - in Winter! He called Saturday morning and was told he couldnt get the gas turned back on until he opened an account, which couldnt be done until Monday. This is winter - what kind of customer service is this? I assume you had a final reading from the previous owner, and he just purchased a $300,000 home, how could you loose any money? If pipes burst would you pay repairs? Ive never heard of turning off gas in the winter when someone sells a home and it gets taken over by a new homeowner. Then today he finally gets to set up an account and you try to charge him $75 for an after hours service call? Finally after his request to speak to a supervisor, you wave the fee as a one time favor! This is unbelievable. Obviously since there are no choices in providing nat gas, you could not care less about customer service.
