Update: We went 'live in March/April. Still paying electric bill and haven't received a penny for selling back power. We were assured our last regular electric bill would be February or March. No so patiently waiting. Renewable energy has been 'checking into it for months'. You decide.Orig story: Our sales person was great, not high pressure. He helped us secure financing and we were installed January 4th and they looked great. It took a bit longer than we initially were told to get the panels to go live. We also had a few communication issues with the main office while trying to get inspections, etc to go through but it all eventually got sorted out. Sherrie was incredibly helpful and is a great 'go to' person if you encounter any minor hiccups along the way. Solar is the way to go and even with a few hold ups here and there, we are ultimately happy with the end result.

Friendly, professional, and efficient, from the office team to the installers. Clear, no pressure explanation of the products, process and costs. Lined up the install and permits right away. Lined up all of the local, state, and federal tax credits. The on-site crew was very friendly, efficient, and clearly enjoyed their work and the company. Technical folks have been very responsive. All in all, a great firm to work with and we're now saving 30% - 50% on our electric bills.

We've had a great experience working with Renewable Energy Corporation, particularly Andrew Clarke. They're responsive, savvy about the industry and helped answer all of our questions. We weren't familiar with the solar program in DC, and they helped us navigate / understand the program and process. Would definitely recommend!

When I first spoke to Renewable, I knew nothing about solar energy except that I was interested getting a little off the grid, a little 'greener', and maybe save some money. The team at Renewable took their time, explained the technology and patiently answered all of my questions. Once we decided on the best system for my house, the install was completed in just 2 days. The crew was professional, did not leave a mess behind, and answered even more of my questions. Sherrie Miller, who was my point of contact for questions, paperwork and process was amazing. I would highly recommend Renewable to anyone who may be interested in solar.
