No one answers the phone at the 'builders line': seriously, you have to leave a message and hope they call back. You don't even have the option to stay on the line and wait to talk to an employee. The excuse is 'due to the Covid-19 epidemic...'. Here is a suggestion for Xcel: HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES AND LET YOUR CUSTOMERS TALK TO A HUMAN BEING! GET RID OF THOSE FRUSTRATING 'PRESS...PRESS...PRESS....' VOICES.

This company added $3100 to by electric bill for a home that I lived in over 6 years ago that they said I owed electric service on. I was told that the debt was written off but they decided to just add it to my bill after I just finished a payment plan for electic service at an address that I didn't even live at during the time they claim there was service there. They say that I failed to call and shut off electric service but what happened was the previous landlord sold the property and during the months it sat on the market the electric service was in my name... I had proof that I did not live there and they did not accept my information and still wanted to charge me. Unfortunately this is the only electric service in saint cloud otherwise I would go with another company because they are greedy and horrible... they treat people so bad. I hate this company.
