Normally the power goes out in a storm, right? Clear, sunny days no problems, right? Flip that around. The past few rounds of severe storms we had power, which is a great thing, mind you. But on a nice clear day, power goes out. Really inconvenient when your coding a program. Get your stuff together Evergy.

I have been trying to get them to work with me. I lost my job and have another starting on the 11th of this month. They wanted 365 dollars which I could pay in increments but the regular girl had no ability to set up. So i asked her to have a supervisor call me so we can try to come up with a resolve. She put me on a call list and I never got called. 9 am the next day they shut off our power without calling me first. I called them and they said that since its off now i have to pay 495. I paid the 495 forcing me to overdraft. I called them after and asked to be turned back on. I have been through hard times before and know they will put me on a list and i have to wait my turn. Thats ok. But when i called they said they have to put me on the schedule for the next day. This was around 11:30 am or 12. The people run till 6pm. And yet they cannot fit me in? I asked why and it wasnt even cause they are busy. Its because the new policy states they cannot turn on service same day it was turned off. I asked if they can at least put in for them to turn it on if they have time. NOWhy : its not our policyI have children to feed and everything runs on electricity in my house. Cant we try? :NO you will have to take them out or order in. I JUST OVERDRAFTED BY ALMOST 300 DOLLARS TO PAY FOR THIS!They wont even try to call and see if there is room in the schedule for today.There has to be a law against this treatment. I paid for a service give me the service or at least try to. I understand you can be busy.Not to mention i have to pay a turn on fee and a deposit. Unacceptable
