We were awakened by a strong smell that we assumed was natural gas. We called NorthWestern Energy at 1:30 in the morning and, at their instructions, evacuated. Within five minutes a truck rolled up and the technician went inside. It turns out that a battery booster had failed and the battery in the lawn tractor in the basement had melted. He unplugged the device and walked out to the car to tell us we could go back inside. This is service beyond peer. Thank you NorthWestern
