Experience with Kota Energy Group and Solar has been good so far, though the process has taken a lot longer than expected. Mostly due to the pandemic. Jay has been great. The team has been responsive to any questions or concerns I've had. It has been good overall.

DECEPTIVE and MISLEADING!. They do not back up their representatives and any issues that you have after installation turns into a he-said she-said situation, that is if you are able to get a hold of anyone at all. Nothing that was agreed up with the Kota representative was fulfilled. Be ware of this company. Spencer Beal agreed in writing via text to fulfill payments promised by Kota for the first year, only to turn around and request a written contract before the completion of the payments. This company will leave you high and dry. Please please please be ware.

Scott Armstrong with Kota Energy got our solar installed by Empire Solar within twelve days of signing on with them. The process has been pretty smooth besides keeping NVEnergy on the same page to get the meter installed and panels turned on, but Scott and Empire Solar were there when help was needed throughout the process. Every company has its ups and downs, but all in all, this was a very smooth process and we will be saving big in the long run. Even through the pandemic going on around the world, Kota is up and running through video calls and electronic documents to make sure issues are resolved and new customers are taken care of.
