Organ Mountain Solar and Electric

Organ Mountain Solar and Electric installed a solar system on our home in November 2019. As a retired engineer, and after taking an NMSU workshop on residential solar energy, I was impressed by the professionalism of their team and their obvious expertise and experience. Donald Wiklund, our sales advisor, and Scott Burns, our project manager, and the whole installation team (led by Alex) were first rate. Communicated well and showed up on time, and took care of all the dealings with the city (inspections) and EPE (new meter).I only got one other quote before deciding on OMSE, mainly because I was impressed by their knowledge and professionalism. The other quote was more money for a less capable system. Since switching on the solar, all my electric bills (up through early June) have been negative! EPE paid me off with a check in April, and I'm building up credit again. I imagine I'll use more electricity than the solar generates when I run the AC full time in July, but I think any bills will be small.I highly recommend these guys to anyone considering getting a solar system.

I really enjoyed working with Organ Mountain Solar and Electric. We had our solar installed in December 2019, and haven't had a bill (other than the electric company solar fee since). Last month we generated more than we used. Alfredo and Scott were great to work. The installation was quick and the panel area looks better than when they started. I would highly recommend.

I wanted to upgrade my newly purchased older home to solar. The good news is that Organ Mountain Solar and Electric told me what they could do, would do AND lived up to their promises. They walked me through all processes every step of the way. Their installation was done sooner than initially promised and their paperwork for everything is thorough and complete. They were easy to communicate with and prompt to reply to all calls, texts and emails. The hardware they installed is top quality with a long-term warranty, too. They are local. They are loyal. And they are where they will be when they said they would be there.One of the reasons I wanted to post a review is the company I initially contracted with, Solcius, was incommunicado after the signature on the contract was dry, and NOTHING happened well past the deadlines they had established. I had to fire them and, interestingly, both salesmen called several months later to say they were with a different company, just in case I wanted to sign with a better company. So glad I had already signed on with Organ Mountain by then. Even with those delays, they had my panels installed, approved and online before the December 31 deadline for the 30 percent Federal Tax Credit.

He worked to ensure that we maximize the system to fit our energy needs now and in the future.The installation team was very professional and did an outstanding job!
