ABYSMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Their salesman misrepresented the ability of system, their company showed up for the install without informing us they were coming, and the company installed an inverter that was smaller than the contracted inverter. The company owner (Justin Williams) explained the inverter issue as both 'the contracted inverter will not work with the number of panels installed' and as 'it's the same price', both statements refuted by the manufacturer of the inverter as blatantly false; it took months to get the matter corrected and we still are unable to access the data monitoring site for this inverter. He also stated that the salesman (no longer with the company) had misrepresented systems to other customers as well. Mr. Williams refuses to return phone calls or meet face to face about the issues and ignored a certified mailing sent to him to address our complaints. This company is currently being investigated by the NYS Attorney General Office Division of Consumer Fraud and Protection regarding these issues.

Initial process was smooth and easy. Installation was very delayed from the estimates given initially (was told the 'average' was 58 days, mine took 98 days). Had to call repeatedly to get a verified scheduled start date because I was told I needed to be there for the installers for the start and end of the job. Installation took 3 days, after which the service upgrade failed inspection mostly due to a careless installation. The electrician came back and resolved the issues, at which point the inspector could not return until the following week. No compensation was offered at all throughout this process

Justin is honorable, hard working, and a true master of his craft. I don't go throwing around 5 star reviews and welcome anyone to reach out to me for more details. You won't be disappointed!

For two full years we have not had an electric bill. We did a lot of research locally and found CNY Solar to be the most cost effective. If I had it to do all over again I would choose the same installer and do it in a second.

CNY Solar was great to work with in getting a system that worked with my budget, and my personal preferences on the location of the panels. They did an excellent job in explaining the multiple steps needed to complete the project and get it up and running. The paperwork process for the funding was made simple. All the employees, both on the phone and on site were great. We, and our property, were treated with respect. Installed November-December 2016.
