Im in absolutely awe! The library, the view, the super courteous and helpful staff...everything about this place was superb. I loved it. This is the best library I have ever been to so far. Its a must go to place for everyone!

Staff are super helpful and friendly. Residents are able to leverage multiple services beyond the typical book rentals (museum passes, game rental, DVD rental, wifi hot spot). Beautiful building structure and details. Kids section up stairs and teen section down stairs. Great kids and teen programs (including volunteer opportunities). Main level has a computer area and fireplace. Attached is an outdoor deck with picnic tables and rocking chairs overlooking the harbor.

I will never go back to this place again. Revoking Dr. Watson's honorary titles because he offered candid remarks about race and women was simply wrong. The man is entitled to his opinion, even if that opinion offends the PC police. CSHL owes their existence to Dr. Watson and his achievements, and this is no way for them to treat such a great American. Very sad day for those who think and express themselves freely. Board chairwoman Simon's is a coward and CEO Stillman should be fired.

(Translated by Google) Halfway up the hill, facing Cold Spring Harbor, a beautiful white building. Everyone who sees him will think that he is a mansion with a beautiful sea view. (Mansion) According to Wikipedia, the library covers an area of 0.8 acres. It was built in 1913. In this overlooking the harbour, you can see a little white boat in the distance, or enter or leave the sea, as well as drifting with the wind. Behind the library is the Cold Spring Harbor State Park, which covers 47 acers.(Original)Cold Spring Harbor, (Mansion) 0.8 acres. 1913 47 acers
