Finally got my solar panels! I got installed in March and I already have a utility bill reflecting the solar production.

Tri state solar has completed my job with great results. 68 panels in September installed with 185 KWH a day in May is amazing. I had LG panels placed on my roof. The job was clean, professional and as best as it could be. Matt Jon are great guys. Donnie he is one of the installer was a great guy who helped do other things with my wiring at my house. He is the electrician and he did some great work. Prior to me going with Tri state solar I got prices from 3 or 4 other companies. One said 35,000 more another was 25,000 more another was 20,000 more. They all charged a lot more. 20,000 dollars is no drop in the bucket. So I was skeptical but I ran with Tri state solar. So here we are 8 months later. System running producing electricity. Got my from my taxes not all of it because I did not qualify with enough income so next year I will get all of it. I'm preparing to do my second home with them. I will be straight forward I did see some of the other reviews and realized that some sound a little inaccurate with regards to taxes it has nothing to do with Tri state. However, yes sometimes Matt had to reschedule or weather messed him up but he came back. Sometimes things just happens and no one is perfect. But sometimes you need to think is paying 35,000 more for the same job worth it because they are a huge Company and will always be prompt. If it is go with them. Matt Jon, Donnie, the installers were all great took some time but go it done! That's what counts. I rather have more time better installation then fly through it and bad install. The point is Matt kept his word got the job done and save me at least 20,000 dollars. Worth the little wait. Thanks Tri state team!!! Great Job!!!!

Had a great experience with Tri-State Solar. The company gave me the best panels and a better price than the other quotes I got. Highly recommended

I give Tri-State Solar Services one star just because I can't go any lower. I has been a whole year since I started the process of going solar. Matt was referred to me by a good friend who in the end also had a bad experience with Tri-state solar. Matt presented himself as an entrepreneur and very approachable guy. He sold me a $30,000 system, promising I would get half the money back in federal and state taxes incentives. I signed up and started paying the loan. After a few months the system was installed but the job was never finished. It has been an entire year and the job is not completed. When I filed my taxes I didn't get the money he promised. To make matters worse the incentive from New York state NYSERDA send him a check for $2,139 meant for me and he never gave me the check. I have called him numerous times but the few times he picks up he promises he will take care of it the next week. Next week never comes. I called his office to complaint but I was told he is the company owner to call him. So if you are going solar Please save yourself the trouble and go with a reputable company.
