Overcharged because they read the meter incorrectly I called to get it fixed and they wanted to charge me $20 for someone to come out to re-read the meter and told me i could do it myself if i didn't want to pay. Another time my bill went up by $120 in one month, I tried to get the bill adjusted because it seemed to be incorrect and they didn't help....They are a bunch of thieves!

Just opened small shop in Hopewell NY. Got my first bill and was shocked. Im paying close to $150 a month just to have an account with them (Basic service charge). This is before using a drop of gas or electric. I am a very small business and use close to nothing for gas and very little for electric and am forced to pay high monthly costs for very little energy. This should be illegal IMO. They basically have a monopoly in the Hudson Valley and are abusing their customers. I should be paying based on usage. Really disappointed.
