EDIT: Hudson Solar is now Suncommon, my system has been in for a few years, and SunCommon recently added a Tesla battery system for me. The system has been absolutely trouble-free, and theyve been great to deal with (for example, I prefer to have them do the seasonal tilt adjustments for my pole-mount panels, and they do so for a very fair price. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Hudson Solar installed a ground-mount system for me several months ago, and overall, I'm very satisfied so far. The system was installed on a very tough, sloped, rocky site--so tough that several other installers declined the job, and I decided to contract separately for site preparation and system installation. Hudson Solar handled the installation, and worked cooperatively with the site prep contractor. They delivered as promised in their contract, the system has passed all inspections, and it is generating the amount promised.

Very pleased with my solar installation. The workmanship was very good and the staff were professional, and it's producing power as expected. My utility bills are now reduced to the basic service charge for the utility and I'm banking KWH's for those months when the 'sun don't shine'. The only problem is the local government does not give a tax exemption for solar or wind so the improvement is fully assessable. Bummer. I intend to bring this up to the local officials.

Great experience. From the initial meeting with Chris to the follow up appointments with engineering. To the final installation. The process was well explained in advance and very smooth. We are now generating our own electricity. I would highly recommend Hudson Solar if you are considering solar energy!

We hired Hudson Solar to install a solar system on our rather large, steep roof. Their workmanship and customer service was exemplary. Their contract is fair and easy to understand and their prices were very competitive. They took care of everything including obtaining permits and inspections in a timely manner. Our system works great. I highly recommend Hudson Solar for any solar project. Their staff is a pleasure to work with.
